The High Commissioner

It is a distinct honour and privilege to serve as the Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis in the Republic of Cuba.

The Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis in Havana is fully committed to strengthening the existing bonds of friendship between Cuba and the Federation.

Traditionally, St. Kitts and Nevis and Cuba have enjoyed healthy relations. We have witnessed 23 years of progress and development in our ties, since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1995. Over the years, we have deepened our engagement on the political front and have had positive results in building cooperation as well as creating and facilitating interfaces on all levels. The opening of the St. Kitts and Nevis Embassy in Havana, Cuba in 2014 is a clear indication of the cordial relations that exist between our two nations.

The Embassy remains steadfast and systematic in its approach to further advance the development of bilateral cooperation in a sustained, stable and sound fashion. The Embassy is committed to strengthening partnerships between St. Kitts and Nevis and Cuba; enhance mutual understanding, foster exchanges and friendship between our two peoples.

The Embassy is still relatively small in size but our staff is adequately equipped to handle the day-to-day operations. Our team will continue to vigorously pursue the interests of St. Kitts and Nevis and promote the common interests of our two countries.

As Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of Cuba, my aim is to work with you in improving bilateral ties, receive your valuable recommendations and observations.
